Best Maternity Photos of 2019 in Cleveland, Ohio

People often ask me what my favorite thing to shoot is and honestly, I have trouble doing only one thing. I don’t like to choose a favorite, because it does vary and I love variety. But, there has always been something very near and dear to my heart about maternity photography.

I’ve actually wondered a lot in 2019…why am I so passionate about maternity photography?

Is it because I want women to see how beautiful they are, even when they aren’t feeling their best?

Or is it because my own pregnancies have been miserable, exhausting and difficult, so I want to find the beauty in the process and experience?

Maybe it’s that I want to empower women, show them how fierce and strong they are.

Could it be that I just really love the shapes and lines of women’s bodies while expecting and I love capturing that in artistic ways to create art?

Honestly, …it’s all of those things.

Whether your journey to Motherhood has been long or short, you know that this pregnancy with this child is only going to happen once. So whether you are glowing and loving every freaking second of it or you are miserable and can’t imagine anyone ever taking your photograph because you want no reminders or documentation of the shit show that is pregnancy for you right now…

My job as your maternity photographer is to plan and execute an intimate session that helps you look your best, even when you aren’t feeling it.

You may not think it now, but you are going to want these someday. Some day you’ll start to forget, and you are going to be so grateful to have images to remind you of all the change your body endured and the incredible things you did to bring your child into the world.

And you know what else?

Your children will marvel at seeing you with that round belly as you tell them all about how you grew them from the inside.
