The Archer Family: A newborn and family lifestyle photo session at home in Bay Village, Ohio

This session was a total blast for me to shoot. I first met this family when big sister was a newborn and we did a studio session for her. I am so grateful to have families who have grown with me throughout the years and are willing to transition alongside me to new types of sessions and styles of photography.

While I LOVE using my studio, especially for newborn sessions, because it gives me the right light, consistency, and clean space to create, I get sometimes it’s easier to have a newborn session in your home.

One of my favorite things about this session, is that it isn’t just a newborn session, but a family session. This was such a great reminder to me that when walking into a newborn session of a second, or third or fourth baby, we can’t forget to remember the siblings. They deserve all the love and attention, just as much as that new baby! I was so happy that we were able to take some photos of big sister alone and with her parents as well while baby was nursing, so that she could be included and feel special too.
